JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Warehouse Lead(s) and or Warehouse and Logistics Manager, perform and work with other warehouse personnel and assembly workers with a variety of warehouse functions, including but not limited to:
- Unpackage/uncrate product according to the production schedule to fill daily kit up requirements/production needs.
- Operate an overhead crane when needed to assist in heavy lifting of components.
- Remove and dispose of all packaging material and waste according to Munters guidelines.
- Perform cleaning duties, dumping trash, taking out and emptying the hoppers, sweeping, etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Warehouse Lead(s), Production Supervisor, or Warehouse and Logistics Manager.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: Minimum of high school diploma or GED
SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Basic modern warehousing methods and procedures proper and orderly storage and stock inventory procedures; proper methods of storing materials and supplies; proper safety practices; basic warehouse procedures; proper methods of handling, unpackaging, uncrating, and unwrapping; lifting techniques; health and safety regulations; interpersonal skills using tact, patience, and courtesy; operation and use of hand and power tools, overhead cranes and equipment.
HOURS OF WORK: Standard work schedules plus overtime and weekend hours will be required to meet production needs. Scheduled hours for the preparation and physical inventory will be required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Heavy (Lifting up to 75 lbs. on a frequent basis and climbing), Standing, Bending, Squatting
