Bar Manager/Head Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Bar Manager/Lead Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management and a keen understanding of bar services. In this role, you will be responsible for creating exceptional beverage experiences for our guests while ensuring adherence to food safety and inventory control practices. Your role is crucial in maintaining the quality and efficiency of our bar operations.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory control to ensure adequate stock is maintained.
• Collaborate with kitchen management to coordinate beverage pairings with menu items.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Assist in catering events as needed, showcasing creativity in drink presentation.
• Participate in training new staff members on bartending techniques and food service management practices.
• Stay updated on industry trends, cocktail recipes, and new products to enhance the beverage menu.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bar Manager or Lead Bar Manager in a fine dining environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
• Familiarity with inventory control processes and kitchen management principles.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• A background in food production or catering is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• A passion for the food industry and commitment to providing outstanding guest experiences.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
