Job Summary
This is a full-time entry level position performing a variety of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general accounting tasks under the direct supervision of the Senior Manager, Financial Accountant.
Roles & Responsibilities
This position has responsibility for :
Accounts Receivable :
- Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing posting and recording accounts receivable’s data
- Posting invoices and payment to accounting system (Oracle)
- Generating credit / debit memos and account statements
- Maintaining customers’ accounts
- Performing AR period close activities, including module closure and reconciliations
- Maintaining accounts receivable files and records
- Investigating and resolving any irregularities or inquiries
- Interacting professionally with customers in billing / payment questions
- Working closely with the sales team to resolve issues and / or discrepancies
- Improving AR processes, as well as seeking improvements of the AR function in Oracle
