Accounts Payable Specialist
We are currently seeking a team-member to join our accounting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the entire accounts payable function within our organization. This includes processing and verifying invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely payments to suppliers and vendors.
Pay $23-$25 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Post all payable invoices daily and reconcile with vendor statements and schedule.
- Disburse checks promptly and accurately.
- Balance statements and finalize data for reporting.
- Prepare accounts for payments and verify data in the system.
- Manage end-of-year 1099 filings.
- Print and maintain all accounts payable reports and files.
- Maintain sublet schedules diligently.
- Conduct and review trending analysis for accurate financial forecasting.
- Answer accounts payable phone calls and follow up on inquiries.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the accounting team.
Qualifications

Experience in a position of Accounting or Accounts Payable.
- Automotive Dealership experience is a plus.
- Experience with Tekion a plus.
- Knowledge of Microsoft products including Excel.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Tech-savvy, comfortable with web-based programs, and proficient in Excel.
- Knowledgeable about basic accounting principles.
- Someone who is great with their communication skills
