Position Overview:
As a Warranty Administrator, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of warranty claims, ensuring accurate documentation, and facilitating the resolution of warranty issues. You will play a critical role in maintaining high standards of customer service and ensuring that warranty procedures are followed correctly.
Key Responsibilities:
Warranty Claims Management:
Process and submit warranty claims accurately and promptly to manufacturers.
Ensure that all required documentation and information are included with each claim.
Track and manage warranty claims to ensure timely resolution and reimbursement.
Documentation & Record-Keeping:
Maintain detailed and accurate records of all warranty claims and related correspondence.
Ensure that all warranty documentation is organized and easily accessible for audits and reviews.
Customer Service:
Act as a liaison between the dealership and manufacturers to resolve warranty issues and answer any questions.
Provide exceptional service to customers by addressing their warranty concerns and keeping them informed about the status of their claims.
Compliance & Process Improvement:
Ensure compliance with all manufacturer policies and guidelines related to warranty claims.
Identify and implement improvements to streamline warranty processes and enhance efficiency.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the service department to ensure accurate warranty claim submissions and resolve any discrepancies.
Coordinate with parts and service teams to facilitate necessary repairs and replacements covered under warranty.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Previous experience as a Warranty Administrator or in a similar role within the automotive industry is highly preferred.
Familiarity with manufacturer warranty systems and processes is a plus.
Skills:
Strong organizational and time-management skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with customers and manufacturers.
Proficiency in Windows-based applications and dealership management systems.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate’s degree or higher in business or automotive technology is preferred.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
