JOB DESCRIPTION: Provides day-to-day support for the Human Resources needs primarily in North Carolina but globally to Missouri Operations if needed.
This also includes support for Recruiting, Employee Development, and Safety for Murphy Family Ventures.

- Assists with the front office coordinator by greeting visitors, ascertaining nature of business, conducting visitor and incoming calls and routing them efficiently to the appropriate person/department, as well as mail distribution.
- Performs the following Human Resources responsibilities in a backup or as needed basis:
- Reviews applications for work history, education, training, job skills and salary requirements and conducts interviews to identify viable candidates.
- Assists with the coordination of all Human Resource requirements and documentation for Spanish speaking new hires such as sign-ups.
- Ensures all human resource documentation are completed in a timely manner and maintained in proper files.
- Implementation of policies and procedures to include benefits, payroll and compensation.
- Provides administrative support for the Training and Development Department as needed.
- Run statistical reports for Human Resources as well as Employee Development and Recruiting
- When necessary, translating documents from English to Spanish or Spanish to English and acting as an interpreter.
- Maintains local personnel records and communicates with manager regularly concerning pertinent issues.
- Assists in the recruitment for new positions to departments and other recruitment needs such as hiring in new areas, college recruiting and job fairs. Includes assisting MFV Recruiting Manager as a liaison for TN recruits.
- Assist with Administration of various employee programs including service awards and referral bonuses.
Responsible for complying with all environmental laws and procedures to which Murphy Family Ventures subscribes.
Reports all environmental issues immediately to their supervisor.
Reads and understands the company's emergency notification process and will be responsible for reviewing that policy at their work site.
Carries out other duties as defined by management.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bilingual Spanish Required – Verbal as well as written,
- Confidentiality beyond reproach.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated computer aptitude with extensive knowledge of Microsoft EXCEL, Word and PowerPoint.
- Ability to determine work priorities.
- Payroll and/or HR knowledge preferred, but not required
- Associate degree or equivalent experience.
- Must be willing to work occasional weekends and evenings when necessary.
