JOB TITLE: HEAD MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN - GOLF COURSE
SUMMARY: Installs, maintains and repairs machinery, equipment and physical structures for Golf Course facilities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Visually inspects and test machinery and equipment (tractors, lawn mowers, weed eaters, etc)
- Detects malfunctions and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnosed problem or repairs machine.
- Installs new or repaired parts.
- Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears and other parts of machinery.
- Installs and repairs electrical receptacles, wiring, electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of two years in mechanic experience
- Must have a current valid drivers license with acceptable driving record
- Good communication skills
- Must be willing to work weekends and evenings when necessary
- Ability to operate machine tools such as saws, hammer, drill and milling machines
- Ability to walk, stoop, bend, climb, perform repetitive motion, read, write and lift up to 50 lbs.
