LOCATION: Wallace NC at River Landing
Job Purpose
The Irrigation/Robot Service Technician is a hands-on position repairing irrigation/robot for commercial and residential landscape customers as well as certain planning, administrative and regulatory functions. Other duties may be required as directed by the Landscape Manager.
Responsibilities - Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Accounting
- Maintain inventory for service vehicle
- Schedule and monitor daily work loads
- Prepare timesheets and other daily paperwork as required by the company
Production
- Repair Irrigation/Robot systems to perform properly.
- Install irrigation/Robot as needed.
- Load and unload heavy equipment, tools as needed
- Plan, coordinate, and collect equipment and materials each day
- Attend and participate in crew and department general and safety meetings
- Safe driving of company owned vehicles trucks (with or without trailers) and transporting crew members
Sales and Customer Service
- Maintain on site relations and communications with clients, contractors, subcontractors and internal customers
- Monitor irrigation applications as needed for seasons and watering needs of properties.
- Monitor Robot applications as needed for seasonal adjustment for each individual property.
License/Training
Ability to pursue Irrigation License
Keep updated Husqvarna or other robot companies
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a routine basis
- Ability to bend and stoop on a continual basis
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
- Ability to work around bees, poison ivy, pollen, thorns and other environmental risks
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Must wear work boots, landscaping uniforms and present yourself in a clean and polite manner
- Must practice safety with chemicals and equipment
- Must wear eye and ear protection as required
- Must have valid NC Driver’s license and maintain a good driving record
- Must have good communication skills and ability to motivate others
- Must comply with policies and procedures
