This position is Saturday and Sunday 9am-9pm
We are seeking a dedicated Crisis Intervention Specialist to respond to emergency situations and provide the necessary support and assistance.
Crisis Intervention Specialists are responsible for developing individualized crisis management plans and providing immediate support and stabilization.
Our ideal candidate is a compassionate professional, skilled in crisis intervention techniques, and has excellent communication skills.
- Respond to crisis calls and assess the situation promptly and efficiently.
- Provide immediate support to individuals in crisis, including stabilization.
- Develop crisis management plans tailored to the needs of the individual.
- Document all interventions and interactions accurately.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and service providers as needed.
- Follow up with clients to ensure their ongoing safety and wellbeing.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient with a strong desire to help others.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
- They engage in direct communication with the individuals, trying to de-escalate the situation, while evaluating the severity of the crisis.
- They assist in developing a plan of action to help manage and mitigate the crisis.
- Has the ability to develop an immediate rapport with youth.
- May be asked to transport youth to the ER for a 10-13 evaluation
- Has a clinical background and clinical experiences.
Qualifications
Must have a valid Driver's License
Must have a High School diploma/degree preferred
Must have 2 years of experience working with youth with behavioral problems
Salary : $25 - $28
