Job Overview & Essential Functions
Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership group and leasing group. As MHC continues to grow, we have an opening for a Fleet Account Representative. The Fleet Account Representative acts as primary MHC contact for assigned fleet(s). Ensures the fleet’s needs are met by interacting with key personnel at the customer and with-in the dealership. Position requires a broad knowledge of the Company’s services, products, and marketing techniques.
- Calls on assigned accounts, maintaining an open line of communication with the customer in relation to their requirements.
- Assist the Sales Manager / Branch Manager with the fleet’s truck specifications, pre-bills, change orders, and new truck paperwork. Stays up to date with the fleet’s specifications and options.
- Coordinates new truck delivery process, trade receipt process and flow of equipment through Service and Body.
- Provides information for any parts, warranty, or service issues the fleet may have at home or on the road. Works to resolve the issues, using all available resources.
- Makes all company services available to the customers.
- Refers complaints and opportunities to proper department managers of the Company.
- Keeps informed on new products and other general information of interest to customers that will assist in sales efforts or raise levels of service.
- Keeps records and makes reports on all phases of activities.
- Assists efforts with outside parts and service sales personnel to achieve full market penetration.
- Keeps all departments informed on customer needs.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
