Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Public Area Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of public spaces within our facility. Your efforts will ensure a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike, contributing to the overall guest experience.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other common spaces.
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Carry out custodial duties including dusting, polishing furniture, and emptying trash receptacles.
- Assist with residential painting tasks as needed to enhance the appearance of public areas.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs promptly.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly.
- Collaborate with other team members to uphold cleanliness standards across all areas of the facility.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or industrial cleaning is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical stamina; ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.53 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
