What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeping Assistant position at Murray Ledger & Times?
Duties of the Bookkeeping Assistant are:
- Audit customer accounts
- Make calls to customers with delinquent accounts
- Research accounts with outstanding balances
- Assist with end of month billing
- Assist business office on an as-needed basis
Candidates should be friendly and outgoing. Phone etiquette is a must. Computer literacy required. Hours are Monday through Friday. Approx. 15 hours per week to start. Hours are negotiable with Office Manager approval.

Pay: $10.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No nights
- No weekends
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
