A fast-growing transport company is seeking an Operations Assistant to support daily yard operations and logistics coordination. The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and experienced in logistics or yard operations. Working collaboratively, the new team member will enhance operational efficiency by ensuring seamless vehicle preparation, maintaining safety standards, and supporting organizational goals while fostering a productive and well-organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing efficient vehicle preparation and delivery processes.
• Support the analysis of operational trends to optimize workflows.
• Work closely with logistics teams to align operational activities.
• Ensure high-quality standards in vehicle inspections and preparation.
• Assist in managing client expectations for vehicle delivery and logistics timelines.
• Provide guidance and support to team members during daily operations.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance operational efficiency and knowledge.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for vehicles and flatbed kits.
• Assist in vehicle testing and ensure smooth logistics scheduling.
• Collect and report client feedback on vehicle readiness and delivery timelines.
• Suggest process improvements for operational excellence.
• Collaborate with maintenance and administrative teams to meet operational objectives.
• Facilitate effective communication between teams and stakeholders.
• Prepare reports on inventory and logistics performance.
• Assist in analyzing operations data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Contribute to operational goal-setting processes.
• Support the implementation of strategies to achieve operational efficiency.
  
  

Requirements

• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
• Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience in yard or logistics operations is preferred
• Administrative background in logistics
• CDL license is desirable
• Basic understanding of vehicle operations and logistics systems
• Proficiency in English; Spanish is a plus
