Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Science, or a related field
- Experience in a similar role, ideally within the oil and gas industry
- Certifications in Power BI, data analysis, or financial modeling (e.g., CBAP, CFA, or Power BI certifications) are a plus
- Ad Hoc Reporting: Ability to produce on-demand reports to answer specific business questions quickly
Data Analysis & Reporting Tools
- Proficient in Power BI or other visual tools for creating, managing, and optimizing dashboards
- Expertise in Power Query for data transformation, cleaning, and integration
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
Presentation & Visualization
- Proficient in PowerPoint to create executive-level presentations
- A designer mindset for crafting visually appealing reports and presentations
AI and Automation
- Preferred experience/knowledge of Microsoft Power Automate
- Ability to use tools such as Chat GPT and Microsoft Co-Pilot
Data Analysis
- Ability to interpret historical data to predict future trends
- Skilled in analyzing large datasets from multiple sources
Collaboration
- Proven ability to work closely with Operations teams and understand operational needs
- Ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights that are understandable to operations
- Ability to work closely with the rest of the finance team to produce new reporting tools for operations

- Demonstrated ability to work independently, proactively identify issues, and take initiative
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
