A leading manufacturer is seeking a Document Control Specialist to manage and maintain critical documentation, including MTRs and process certificates. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in handling supplier documentation within the steel industry.
Salary : $18-21 / hr

Type of Position : Direct Hire
Responsibilities :
- Maintain a strong understanding of MTRs and their requirements.
- Assess incoming supplier MTRs to ensure compliance with established standards before system entry.
- Generate MTRs for customer orders in accordance with industry standards and customer specifications.
- Accurately enter data into the designated software and promptly address discrepancies with vendors.
- Prepare coating certificates for fastener and industrial coating orders.
- Upload and submit quality documentation through designated customer portals.
- Review and address customer feedback related to submitted documentation.
- Work closely with other departments to resolve order documentation issues.
- Ensure timely processing and delivery of documentation and products as required.
- Participate in training programs to enhance job performance and comply with company policies, quality management standards, and safety regulations.
