Key Responsibilities
- Perform general office tasks and provide administrative support to attorneys in litigation-related activities.
- Handle incoming phone calls and respond to general property tax inquiries related to mailings, citations, judgment notices, sheriff sales, and payoff requests from property owners and title companies.
- Assist in responding to mail, fax, and email inquiries, sharing responsibilities with colleagues to address payoff requests and questions about mailings, lawsuits, sheriff sales, and other general inquiries.
- Act as a taxpayer liaison, working with property owners regarding mailings, lawsuits, and sheriff sales, shares responsibilities for processing installment payments from property owners under active payment agreements, logging payments into the Oracle check tracking system.
- Support litigation efforts by entering notes into the Oracle system, tracking returned citations, assisting attorneys with researching addresses for reissued citations, coordinating with constables for process service, and monitoring citation service and other litigation-related matters.
