Responsibilities: The Mentor promotes the safe operation of the school and supports
students’ attendance and academic achievement. The mentor provides
tracking for students with excessive absences and encourages them to
succeed academically, supervises students in detention, issues truancy
citations, and monitors hallways and parking lots; other duties as assigned by
school administrator.
Minimum Requirements: HS graduate/equivalent; bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred; strong,
assertive communication skills with secondary education students required.
Job Specificiations:
Part-time hourly position; 28 hours per week (retirement benefits)

Pay Grade/Salary Range: Pay Grade 5
Current Employees: $16.35 TO $23.64 based on years with the district
New-to-the-District: $16.35 to $18.73 based on education and/or experience
