The Coordinator of Domestic Graduate Recruitment and Retention performs a wide variety of graduate duties to meet graduate enrollment goals and retention efforts associated with the University Strategic Plan.
The Coordinator of Domestic Graduate Recruitment and Retention performs a wide variety of graduate duties to meet graduate enrollment goals and retention efforts associated with the University Strategic Plan.
- Develops and implements marketing plans to recruit qualified graduate students with an emphasis upon meeting the institutions enrollment goals. Duties include working within our current CRM Recruit or any future acquired technology.
- Plan, market, and execute various events to attract and retain graduate students.
- Assists with marketing efforts in collaboration with Branding and Marketing associated with graduate education; this includes collaborative efforts to develop programs and promotional material for domestic graduate student markets.
- Visits colleges and universities, healthcare and manufacturing industries to build relationships, attract and recruit students and market MSU programs. Develops and maintains network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.
- Processes and tracks graduate assistantships.
- Coordinates tours and campus visits for prospective graduate students.
- Develop and execute a strategic student success and retention plan to promote the efforts of Strategic Initiatives.
- Implement already existing Mapworks software for graduate student retention efforts.
- Maintain regular communication with graduate students through various technological resources to promote recruitment and retention efforts.
- Serves on university committees related to enrollment and retention and others as called upon
- Works with Institutional Effectiveness in reporting.
- Other duties as assigned.
