Summary of Job Duties and Responsibilities
Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements
Track student progress, track and analyze Praxis scores, inform and support students, manage Praxis vouchers, develop post-graduate evaluation processes with a focus on both internal operations and stakeholder engagement. Coordinate the teaching of EDU 180 and EDU 280 across multiple departments.
- Track teacher education majors through admission to student teaching and graduation by reviewing various data points via an assessment management platform.
- Lead instructor for Racer Academy courses of the Core Teacher Education Program (EDU 180 and EDU 280).
- Coordinate the teaching and assessment review of EDU 180 and EDU 280 across multiple departments.
- Conduct classroom visits in the Core Education courses to inform teacher education students of the steps required to register for the Praxis.
- Coordinate and track the dissemination and use of Praxis vouchers.
- Provide targeted support strategies, inclusive of individualized support and tutoring, to students to promote success on the Praxis.
- Provide analysis of Praxis results to stakeholders.
- Create post-graduate evaluation process to enhance curricular experiences.
- Provide continuous assessment support to the Assistant Dean of the College of Education and Human Services regarding accreditation management.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Master’s Degree required.
- Three years of prior experience in K-12 education and/or higher education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, multi-tasking, and organizational skills required.
- Must have pleasant, proactive personality and ability to handle demanding situations.
- Must be able to quickly adapt to address changing circumstances.
- Keyboarding, filing, MS Office Suite programs, Google Suite, Canvas Learning Management, Zoom skills required.
- Travel will be required.
