About the Role:
We’re looking for a Marketing and Social Media Intern to support our brand and digital marketing efforts. This is a hands-on opportunity for a passionate individual to learn, create, and contribute to Musaffa’s global presence.
You’ll work closely with our marketing and leadership teams to plan, produce, and manage content across our social media channels, while also contributing ideas that reflect current trends in ethical finance and fintech. The ideal candidate is someone who’s creative, self-driven, and eager to grow in a fast-paced, mission-aligned environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and scheduling content across platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok)
- Write captions, draft short articles or post copy, and contribute to storytelling that aligns with Musaffa’s brand and mission
- Create, direct, and produce engaging short-form video content for our social media channels.
- Utilize video editing software such as CapCut, Sony Vegas Pro, Adobe Premiere, or similar tools to edit and enhance short-form video content.
- Help design visual content using tools like Canva or similar platforms
- Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and support community engagement
- Track performance metrics and contribute to monthly reporting
- Conduct market research and stay up to date on fintech, investing, and social media trends
- Collaborate with team members on campaign strategy and execution
- Support content for email marketing, investor outreach, and other digital channels as needed
Who You Are:
- A current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Media, Business, or related fields
- Strong interest in social media, digital content creation, and fintech/ethical investing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiar with major social platforms and emerging content trends
- Organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a remote setting
- Bonus: Experience using Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite, or managing a social media account (personal or professional)
- Bonus: Passion or curiosity about Islamic finance and financial inclusion
