Social Media and Public Relations Manager (Islamic Finance)
As we continue to scale, we’re seeking an experienced and passionate Social Media & PR Manager to take our brand to the next level by driving engagement, strengthening our industry presence, and expanding our reach through impactful storytelling and strategic PR initiatives.
This role offers strong growth potential, including the opportunity for promotion to Vice President level for individuals who demonstrate exceptional performance and leadership in brand strategy, media relations, and community engagement.
About the Role
As Social Media & PR Manager , you will play a critical role in shaping Musaffa’s brand voice, digital presence, and media relations. You will be responsible for crafting and executing strategies that amplify our message, drive community engagement, and position Musaffa as a thought leader in the Islamic fintech space.
This role requires flexibility in work hours, as we engage with a global audience spanning different time zones.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Management & Growth
Develop and execute a powerful social media strategy to position Musaffa as a leading voice in Islamic finance across platforms including LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and Reddit.
Create high-impact content including thought leadership posts, infographics, videos, and user-generated content that drives engagement and builds trust.Analyze performance metrics, optimize campaigns, and ensure continuous growth in reach and engagement.Keep up with social media trends, ensuring Musaffa stays ahead in digital innovation.Public Relations & Brand AwarenessBuild relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers to increase Musaffa’s media presence in Islamic finance, fintech, and ethical investing.
Secure media coverage, guest articles, podcast interviews, and speaking engagements for key Musaffa executives.Manage Musaffa’s reputation by handling press releases, public statements, and crisis communications when necessary.Collaborate with thought leaders and industry partners to co-create content and increase brand exposure.Community Engagement & Thought LeadershipHost and moderate webinars, AMAs, and live Q&A sessions to engage with investors and promote financial literacy.
Actively engage with our community, responding to comments, questions, and discussions across all platforms to build trust and loyalty.Leverage user-generated content, testimonials, and success stories to strengthen the Musaffa brand.Plan and execute PR campaigns around product launches, partnerships, and key industry events.Position Musaffa as an industry thought leader by securing executive commentary in leading publications.Develop and execute influencer marketing strategies that align with our brand and ethical investing mission.Track and analyze key performance metrics for social media engagement, PR coverage, and brand sentiment.Use data to refine strategies, ensuring continuous improvement in outreach, engagement, and impact.Provide regular reports and recommendations to the executive team based on insights and industry trends.What You’ll Bring to Musaffa
Experience & Expertise
10 years of experience in social media management, public relations, or digital marketing, ideally in fintech, finance, or tech startups.A strong track record of building brand awareness and driving social media engagement.Experience working with journalists, influencers, and key media outlets to secure press coverage and industry recognition.Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, Journalism, or a related field.Skills & Knowledge
Exceptional storytelling and content creation skills with an ability to craft compelling narratives.Strong analytical mindset with experience in tracking and optimizing social media and PR campaigns.Proficiency in social media analytics tools (Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.).Experience in hosting and moderating online events, webinars, and live Q&A sessions.Nice-to-Have Skills
Pre-existing relationships with journalists, influencers, or Islamic finance organizations.Experience with SEO, digital advertising, and paid social media strategies.Familiarity with Islamic finance, ethical investing, or fintech ecosystems.Salary Range : $60,000 - $100,000
