Job Description Summary
The Center for Telehealth School-Based Telehealth Program Coordinator reports to the nurse manager of school-based telehealth. Under general supervision, and working closely with the School-Based health team, the School-based telehealth RN program coordinator aims to successfully carry out the goals and initiatives of the program including, but not limited to, carrying out program expansion, outreach to school liaisons, and general programmatic infrastructure logistics and support. . The school-based health program focuses on providing care to students in schools across the state of South Carolina through telehealth. The RN program coordinator will work closely with the RN educator to provide clinical excellence and support to school nurses and point people participating in the school programs.

Additional Job Description
Education : experience managing programs in a healthcare setting in addition to clinical experience. School or pediatric experience preferred. Considerable knowledge of program planning, task organization, and project management preferred. Knowledge of telehealth preferred. Experience working with healthcare information technology. Moderate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software and software applications commonly used in program management required. Critical thinking skills and strong inter-personal skills essential. . Excellent computer skills; Word, Excel, etc. Certification : Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or compact state. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required. Proof of current training in AED for health care providers. Some positions require a valid driver's license. Certification as a generalist in a related specialty area by the American Nurses Association (ANA) strongly encouraged.
