Job Summary
Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse provides direct patient care to individuals dealing with illnesses, injuries or surgeries. Duties include admitting and monitoring patients, administering medications and managing medical equipment.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with established standards and protocols
- Administer medications and manage medical equipment as needed
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to healthcare teams
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and a minimum of one year of work experience as a Registered Nurse required
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification with the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Ongoing education and training in patient care and medical procedures
