Key Responsibilities
Administer radiopharmaceuticals and medications to obtain diagnostic images and / or provide targeted therapy as ordered by physicians.
Perform quality care to pediatric through adult patients using professional and ethical judgment along with critical thinking in performing duties.
Requirements
Graduate of an ARRT or NMTCB recognized Nuclear Medicine Program required.
0-2 years in Radiologic experience; Must be a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) from the NMTCB or Registered Technologist (RT (N)) from ARRT or registry eligible.
If registry eligible, must obtain certification within 12 months.
Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA) required.
Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
