Primary Function: The job of Regional PES Clerk was established for the purpose/s of providing secretarial support to assigned region personnel; ensuring compliance of activities under the area of responsibility with state reporting, legal and administrative requirements; and providing information, and/or direction as may be requested by assigned administrator in assisting parents, staff, district and community in communicating effectively.

3. Experience: |
Minimum one year of experience or equivalent technical/business certificate preferred |

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
1. |
Assists with processing of documents, forms, mailings, and materials for the purpose of disseminating information to appropriate parties and tracking region completion. |
2. |
Inputs and compiles data from a variety of sources for the purpose of complying with financial, legal and or administrative requirements. |
3. |
Reviews and files submitted IEPS for assigned region to ensure section completion and submission of required information. |
4. |
Distributes documents (e.g. mail, supplies, messages, etc.) for the purpose of providing information. |
5. |
Performs record keeping and general and program specific clerical functions (e.g. scheduling, copying, faxing, etc.) for the purpose of supporting department staff. |
6. |
Prepares written materials (e.g. reports, memos, letters) for the purpose of conveying information regarding school and/or district activities and procedures. |
7. |
Maintains confidentiality of records to include securing the records room and confidentiality of personally identifiable information for all parties for the purpose of legal compliance |
8. |
Daily attendance and punctuality are required for the purpose of ensuring the goals of the work unit can be met. |
9. |
Supports assigned administrative personnel for the purpose of providing assistance with their administrative functions. |
10. |
Performs other duties as assigned by appropriate administrator. |
