Summary:
Responsible for Group Reservations activity as it pertains to the resort sales department, in conjunction with front desk. Ensure that all information for individual reservations or groups (billing profiles/information, rooming lists, itineraries, internal communication property wide, etc.) are accurate and communicated to the front desk, and all key departments within the resort. Responsible for pre-assigning rooms where needed and assisting in checking in mass arrivals such as bus groups, or other groups if needed by Front Desk. Responsible for providing the highest standard of exceptional and courteous service while registering guests, settling guest accounts and servicing guest requests and inquiries. Promote all aspects of the property and local area attractions. Maintain and monitor the confidentiality of records, transactions, and guest information. All functions will be performed within the guidelines of the MNGE policies & procedures.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist the group sales department, and front Desk team with the daily group activities; arrivals, departures, reports and functions to also included the necessary internal communication.
2. Process group arrivals and departures, including all necessary payments and account closings.
3. Handle & coordinate room assignments and pre-arrivals for groups.
4. Handle group concerns, various requests, and event information for a pleasurable guest experience.
5. Ensure all necessary information is received for arriving guest, to facilitate their arrival and comfort prior to and during their stay.
6. Handle, coordinate, delegate and/or store, or arrange for delivery/pick-up of luggage and related duties
7. Guide or direct groups to the various offerings of the property.
8. Assist with the check-in and check-out of groups and tours; utilize knowledge and familiarity of casino hotel and its amenities to recommend room sizes, views, offerings, specials, and excellent guest service features.
9. Utilize effective communication skills, professional attitude and good organizational skills to deliver accurate and timely information to guests and callers.
10. Take payments, reservations payments and/or cash handling utilizing various computer applications. Coordinate accurate billing with the group and financial accounting.
11. Attend Pre-Con meetings when required to ensure that group request are accurately handled; attend weekly sales meetings and communicate status of upcoming groups; be aware & report any changes that recently occurred.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

EDUCATION
High School diploma; and/or combination of education & experience.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 2 years Hotel front desk experience in first class hotel/casino or related hospitality area.
Advanced understanding of software knowledge and application preferred.
Possess positive, friendly and out-going personality; work as a customer-service focused team player.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
MCN OPG Gaming License is required.
Key positions required knowledge and application of Title 31 reporting requirements.
Must have ability to pass comprehensive background check, drug test, and obtain gaming license as required.
