 **Must Have a Valid Drivers License.

This position is employed PART TIME or FULL TIME by Muse Gelato. The person reports to the Opps Manager

This position shift starts work at 6:00 AM. Do not apply if you can’t begin to work at that time.

 ** New employees may start as part-time until they can prove skills and dependability.

** Job requires that you spend extended time inside the freezer packing the product. Temps can be as low as - 10 F.

Summary/Objective

This is an all-inclusive warehouse job. The employee will perform many tasks as it pertains to the warehouse such as but not limited to cleaning, picking orders, receiving goods, packing boxes, building pallets, and delivering products by driving the delivery truck,.

The employee will spend long periods of time in the freezer organizing as production brings new inventory in. (These temperatures dip into the negatives, the company provides clean and warm jackets.) Picking and packing orders for delivery.

While maintaining and working under all food safety codes as required in the SQF code and Muse Gelato Food Safety Manual. This position is required to assist in the cleaning and sanitation of all warehouse areas.

Primary Functions

·        Arrive at work on time at the start of their shift at 6 AM

·        Make boxes using tape guns.

·        Stay in freezer while packing boxes and building pallets of product.

·        Strap and wrap pallets for shipping.

·        Sweep and clean warehouse floors with floor scrubber, shop vac, and brooms.

·        Clean and sanitize warehouse doors, walls, and carts.

·        Bring trash to the dumpsters each time the trolley gets full.

·        Prepare orders for shipping and load trucks.

·        Receive inventory in and put inventory away

·        Other warehouse tasks as assigned.

·        Deliver products when required.

·        Follow all food safety rules and SQF rules when performing all tasks.

·        Report all and any food safety issues.

Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

·       Ability to safely use a forklift and pallet jack

·       Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills

·       Excellent oral and written communication skills. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus!

·       Proven ability to think independently and handle multiple projects through to completion.

·       Ability to manage time and tasks to complete them based on a deadlines and schedules

·       Demonstrated independent work initiative, sound judgment, analytical ability, and professional demeanor

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional environment. This role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, tape guns, floor cleaners.

This is also an environment where several allergens include Milk, Peanuts, Tree Nuts, Soy, Eggs, and Wheat.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to be able to lift 50 pounds or more safely. The employee will be working in environmental conditions of the freezer which can drop to below 15 F. Warehouse temperatures during peak weather conditions can rise to degrees of 75 F or slightly higher.

Required Education and Experience

·       5 years in warehouse and logistics environment (Preferred)

·       Clean driving record along with a valid Florida driver's license (Required)

·       Familiar with the metro Orlando area.

·       Ability to listen and take
