What You'll Accomplish
- Develop and Deploy Web Features: Create, test, and deploy new functionalities on the mos.org website using Drupal CMS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, enhancing user engagement and educational content delivery.
- Automate and Optimize Testing: Implement automated regression tests to ensure new features do not disrupt existing functionalities, improving the reliability and efficiency of our web platforms.
- Integrate Internal Systems: Work on projects that integrate web applications with other internal digital systems, aiming to streamline operations and enhance data flow across departments.
- Document and Report: Maintain thorough documentation of development processes and test results, providing insights that can guide future development and troubleshooting.
- Technical Chops: Proficiency in Drupal CMS, along with a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. Must be able to apply these skills to develop and maintain high-quality web applications.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data from web usage and testing to make informed decisions on development and optimization strategies.
- Attention to Detail: Ensures that all code and content are meticulously checked for errors, with a keen eye for maintaining the integrity of the user experience.
- Proactivity: Acts without being prompted to solve problems or improve processes, showing initiative in identifying and addressing potential issues in web development and deployment.
- Collaboration: Works effectively as part of a team, contributing to discussions and integrating feedback from different departments to create web solutions that meet various needs.
- Flexibility/Adaptability: Capable of adjusting quickly to changing project requirements and priorities, especially in a dynamic environment like a museum where educational content and technology evolve.
