Title: Receiving Supervisor
Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm, M-F (Opening)
Main Function: Supervise a team of warehouse personnel to ensure the provision of a professional receipt and storage service to customers, encompassing both speed and accuracy.
General Responsibilities:
· Overall responsibility for all aspects of the effective supervision, training & development and health, safety & welfare of your team.
· Ensure quality procedures and team quality targets are strictly adhered to.
· Responsible for the presentation and implementation of all performance reviews and performance enhancement plans.
· Responsible for any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time.
· Accurate communication of company policies and procedures and follow up to ensure associate compliance.
· Strong Communication with managers on observations of Day-to-Day activities.
· Contributing with the overall safety of yourself and others within the Receiving work area putting emphasis on the cleanliness of all work areas and equipment maintenance.
· Represent the company in a positive and professional manner.
· Maintain 48-hour processing for all inbound receipts – use provided resources to do so.
· Coordinating of daily replenishments and put-away activities from Receiving – have strong communication with machine operators to ensure prompt completion and safe operation.
· Entry of short receipts, mis-shipments, and over-shipments in the Receiving WFS – making sure that not only data is entered but also following up on updates of issues submitted.
- Printing/Reviewing the Daily Receiving Short Receipt Report.
- Managing the prepping of all slappers before putting on rack locations.
- Managing all packs-build requests in a timely fashion.
- Managing all manual SKU reclasses when needed.
- Utilization of scheduling and forecasting tools to optimize labor productivity and minimize OT.
- Routine cycle counts within the warehouse; working with other supervisors to minimize inventory control problems.
- Cross training all employees in other departments within the warehouse.
- Assist other departments as needed.
- Helping to enforce an increased level of personalized feedback to employees on a daily/weekly basis.
Personnel Administration:
· Conduct employee reviews. Help resolve human resource issues as they arise (disciplinary action, hiring, terminations, etc). Send the recorded information to Facility Manager in a timely manner.
· Approval and maintenance of personal and vacation day requests from employees.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
