We are currently seeking a Teaching Artist to join our team of passionate educators. As a Teaching Artist at MusicBreeds, you will have the opportunity to inspire and empower students through engaging music lessons and creative expression.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement music lessons that align with our curriculum and educational goals.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters creativity and personal growth.
- Engage students with diverse learning styles and abilities through interactive music activities.
- Encourage artistic expression and individuality.
- Provide constructive feedback and evaluation to support students' musical development.
- Collaborate with fellow Teaching Artists and staff to develop and improve curriculum and teaching methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Music Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Prior experience teaching music to students of various ages and backgrounds.
- Demonstrated proficiency on at least one instrument.
- Strong musical theory and performance skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate about music education and inspiring the next generation of musicians.
