Salary : 70,720.00

We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Programs Manager , a leadership role responsible for overseeing Program Coordinators and interns. The Program Manager will lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident programs, ensuring alignment with community needs and organizational goals. This position plays a key role in supervising staff, building partnerships, supporting grant writing efforts, and ensuring program effectiveness.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Program Supervision and DevelopmentProvide leadership, supervision, and support to Program Coordinators and interns.
Oversee the planning and execution of resident programs, ensuring they are responsive to community needs and aligned with best practices.Develop and implement program policies, procedures, and evaluation metrics.Ensure all programs operate within budgetary guidelines and track expenses in coordination with the finance team.Assist in developing and managing program budgets, identifying cost-saving measures when possible.Assist the Director of Community Engagement in identifying and drafting grant opportunities.Staff & Intern SupervisionRecruit, train, and mentor Program Coordinators and interns, providing professional development opportunities.
Conduct regular check-ins and performance evaluations for program staff and interns.Support staff in handling challenging resident situations with trauma-informed care and conflict resolution techniques.Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures for all program staff.Program Evaluation and ReportingEstablish program goals and track progress toward measurable outcomes.
Utilize data collection and evaluation tools to assess program impact and effectiveness.Oversee accurate and timely data entry into Salesforce or other tracking systems.Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual program reports, including client success stories and program evaluations.Community and Partner EngagementDevelop and maintain partnerships with local organizations, service providers, and stakeholders to enhance program offerings.
Ensure culturally responsive programming that reflects the diversity of Mutual Housing communities.Establish and maintain effective feedback loops with residents to continuously improve programs.Administration and ReportingEstablish program goals and track progress toward measurable outcomes.
Utilize data collection and evaluation tools to assess program impact and effectiveness.Oversee accurate and timely data entry into Salesforce or other tracking systems.Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual program reports, including client success stories and program evaluations.Time ManagementOrganize and prioritize multiple projects effectively to meet deadlines.Attend training and development programs to enhance skills and stay informed of best practices in resident programming.Represent Mutual Housing at community events, conferences, and meetings as needed.Requirements :
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (social work, education, nonprofit management, etc.) and at least three years of relevant experience, OR five years of equivalent experience in program coordination or management.Experience in program management, including staff supervision, budget oversight, and program evaluation.Strong cultural competency and experience working with diverse, low-income communities.Experience with researching, identifying, and contributing to grant opportunities.Ability to build and maintain partnerships with community organizations and stakeholders.Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience with grant writing.Knowledge of trauma-informed care, conflict resolution, and community development principles.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience using customer relationship management (CRM) systems such as Salesforce.Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities effectively.Fluency in a second language (e.g., Spanish, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Tagalog, or Russian) is preferred but not required.CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain, provided by Mutual Housing).Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites as needed.The above job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and standards of the position.
