As a Life Claims Analyst you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and prompt evaluations of claims by analyzing and determining the appropriate action steps needed while adhering to both internal and external regulation and ensuring an industry leading customer experience. Training hours for the position will be 8:00-4:30 CST, Monday through Friday for 3 weeks. Following training the hours will be 9:00am - 5:30pm CST, Monday thru Thursday and 8:30am - 5:00pm CST on Friday.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:
- Hourly Wage:$20.25, plus annual bonus opportunity.
- , 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
- Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year.
- Regular associates receive 11 paid holidays in 2024, which includes 2 floating holidays that are added to your prorated personal time to be used at your discretion.
- Regular associates are provided sick leave through the use of personal time. Associates working 40 hours a week can receive up to 40 hours of personal time in 2024, which is prorated based on the start date. Additionally you will receive two floating holidays in 2024 by way of personal time that may be used at your discretion.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Determines complex claim benefits based on medical records and contract language, ensuring timely decisions for both payment and denial.
- Analyzes and processes complex claims, communicates effectively with external and internal customers, and finalizes claims while explaining handling procedures.
- Provides effective customer service through various channels, using expanded knowledge and resources to resolve inquiries and perform service recovery techniques.
- Meets/exceeds department standards for attendance, productivity, and quality, while actively participating in daily management, contributing insights for process improvements and supporting service delivery enhancements.
- Engages in self-development, stays informed about industry changes, and adheres to company processes and regulations, while building and maintaining effective working relationships.
