At Muskingum Valley Health Center, we are searching for a qualified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our practice in Ohio. The ideal candidate will share our vision in regard to patient centered care, as well as have a passion for expanding access, and providing medical services to all patients in our region.
- Maintains privacy and confidentiality at all times
- Supports change and participates in activities to promote organizational development.
- Reviews and complies with MVHC policies and procedures related to regulatory standards (HFAP, OSHA, HIPAA, etc.).
- Demonstrates actions and behaviors that consistently contribute to the safety of all (i.e., incident reporting, hazards, and infection control management, etc.).
- Positively and appropriately accepts direction and constructive input from Leadership.
- Completes appropriate documentation within the specified timeframe.
- Follows proper technique in assisting and performing procedures.
- Recognizes and reports signs of abuse or domestic violence.
- Displays ability and uses critical thinking skills to set priorities for patient care, self, and others.
- Submits incident reports, evaluations, anecdotal notes, informal and formal counseling’s by deadlines and/or in a timely manner.
- Adheres to all MVHC's policies and procedures fully cooperating with the MVHC Compliance Program
- Completion of an Masters Degree from an accredited School of Nursing or Physician Assistant studies, with licensure in the state of Ohio.
- NP/PA Certification
- Certification in area of specialty required
- One to two years of clinical experience preferred.
- CPR Certification
- Supervisory experience a plus.
