What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plastic Injection Molding Process Technician position at MVP Disc Sports?
MVP Disc Sports is a sporting goods company in Marlette, Michigan. We are growing company with a mission to be the leading edge in technology and innovation in all areas of disc golf. We are seeking experienced technicians to join us in our mission to be the leading manufacturer of disc golf equipment.
MVP uses a plastic injection molding process to create our discs and with our rapid growth we have continued to acquire more machines. We're looking for candidates that have experience with technical processing in regard to injection molding machines.
MVP offers a clean and safe facility with brand new All-Electric Injection Molding machines and state-of-the-art accessory equipment. Our young company is unique and offers a lot of opportunity for growth.
Some responsibilities of this position include:
- Monitoring processes
- Maintaining equipment
- Updating Production log books
- Identifying faults and troubleshooting solutions
- Maintaining a clean and safe production area
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of various types of machines, equipment, and mechanical processes
- Experience with troubleshooting computer programs and/or mechanical engineering
- Experience in a production environment but also familiarity with warehousing and inventory
- Analytical and observational skills
- Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
