MVP Recruitment is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to support the clinical team at a highly respected, non-profit Skilled Nursing Facility located 30 minutes East of Hartford, CT. This faith-based community provides short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and end-of-life care, welcoming residents and staff of all faiths. The facility features beautiful indoor and outdoor amenities, including a Chapel with daily mass and a serene courtyard.
Position Overview :
As the Assistant Director of Nursing, you'll work closely with the Director of Nursing to lead a dedicated team of RNs, LPNs, and CNAs. You'll play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care to residents, supporting regulatory compliance, and fostering positive relationships with residents, families, and the care team.
Key Responsibilities :
Assist the Director of Nursing in developing and implementing staffing plans to meet departmental needs.
Monitor and evaluate nursing care quality through rounds.
Support compliance with state and federal regulations, especially during annual surveys, and assist in the development and implementation of plans of correction as needed.
Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and Administrator on resident care and operational strategies.
Address and resolve resident, family, and staff concerns in collaboration with the Director of Nursing.
Promote a positive, person-centered environment for residents and staff.
Qualifications :
Active Connecticut RN licensure.
Previous supervisory experience in long-term care.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
