Success in this role is measured by effective communication with customers, mentoring drivers, supporting cross-team projects, and being recognized as a key team contributor. / p pstrongResponsibilities : / strong / p ul liReceives incoming calls from drivers requesting emergency and non-emergency assistance. / li liDetermines which trucks / trailers are most time-sensitive and reacts accordingly. / li liAlerts Planners, Dispatchers, and Fleet Supervisors of breakdown or maintenance delay and keeps them informed on the status of the repair. / li liContacts a repairman available in the vicinity of the truck. / li liRemains cost conscious; researches the lowest costs and closest repairmen and acts to maintain maximum efficiency. / li liRecords daily logs of long and short-term repair projects of all trucks and trailers. / li liUpdates the status of truck / trailer in system. / li liEnters invoices into the computer. Administers driver charge backs. / li liPosts repair and maintenance amounts in maintenance software. / li liProvides invoices to drivers if needed.
