Essential Job Functions
- Basic knowledge of CAD systems and ability to learn SolidWorks.
- Design and document our products, assembly, and tooling fixtures to support operations.
- Review RFQ’s and use the equivalent information from the 3D model to create a 2D model
- Develop 2D and 3D models based on customer requirements.
- Assist the customer service team by getting specific information that customers are looking for.
- Complete testing of various products to assist in development.
- Document procedures.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate within a group.
- Ability to take direction and work independently.
- Strong desire to learn from all departments.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office systems.
- Detail-oriented and able to work on several projects at a time.
- Strong interest in material systems desired.
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field required.
