JOB SUMMARY
The Regional HR Manager (HRM) will serve as a strategic and hands-on HR business partner that provides full-cycle Human Resources support to regional business units and their General Managers. In concert with their business partner and Divisional HR, the HRM will work to develop people connectivity through process and program synergies across their allocated sites. This individual will serve as a lead for allocated business units and be the professional HR resource and first escalation point for HR related matters. The HRM will need to strike a balance between serving as a business partner to foster a talent-forward environment and ensuring foundational HR processes and practices are being adhered to. This position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated locations. The role will also oversee a range of administrative functions to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and compliance with company policies and local regulations.
It is imperative the HRM possesses the ability to effectively execute operational tasks and to implement, upon direction, higher-level strategic initiatives. The HRM is responsible to ensure that the right talent is in place at each BU location, while driving engagement and optimizing processes.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Directly support multiple BU locations while overseeing and serving as professional business partner and talent advisor for business units.
- Leads HR services initiation, oversight, and delivery for the aligned BU(s) (administrative tasks, employee relations, compensation administration, performance management, change management, talent management, decision support, etc.), coordinating with HR leadership, HR peers to deliver consistent services across the business units/organization.
- Partners with site leaders, divisional and corporate HR to drive HR initiatives with divisional and corporate goals.
- Leverages work across sites and business units to increase uniformity, efficiency, and scalability of work.
- Ensures staffing requirements are met and that staffing data is maintained. Ensures right teammates are in the right place at the right time. Monitors turnover and temporary labor, ensuring the most efficient and cost-effective resources are being utilized.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with MW colleagues, managers, and leadership.
- Ensures adherence and compliance with MW’s Human Resource policies, practices, and legal requirements as well as applicable state and local regulatory requirements.
- Administers and maintains strategy and programs in support of recruitment and staffing, labor and employee relations, safety compliance, benefits, and compensation.
- Assists in the implementation of talent management directives including training, apprenticeships, co-ops, internships, and developmental programs for sites within their COE.
- Rolls out organization wide initiatives including, but not limited to, bonus plan preparation, merit planning, policy and procedure adherence, temporary labor, employee data management, and other programs as designed.
- Support and help plan company communication efforts to ensure employees are well informed and knowledgeable about the company’s general information, as well as goals and objectives and other critical information.
- Collaborate with BU business leaders to establish and maintain a positive employee relations environment, build our employer brand, and enhance our working culture at all the facilities.
- Oversee and ensure consistent administration of policies and procedures to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
- Provide information and reporting as required to leadership, HR leadership, and organizational requirements.
- Manage the day-to-day tasks of employee administration, such as but not limited to, maintaining employee records, safety records, payroll reviews.
- Maintain accurate HR records.

SKILLS and ABILITIES
- Strong communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of HR processes, benefits, compensation, employee relations, recruitment, training, employment regulations, data analytics, strategy, change management and manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of labors laws and HR best practices.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, resourcefulness, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle complex communications fluently while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
- Strong sense of urgency, strong follow-up skills.
- Ability to work with high volumes of confidential information in a professional manner.
- Confident self-starter who requires minimal supervision, comfortable with ambiguity and adaptable.
- Ability to present complex information in a clear and convincing way to employees, management, and leadership.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- 5 years’ experience of progressive human resources experience within an operational/manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Human Resources, or related field; preferred
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Hands-on experience with Human Resources Management Software (including payroll systems and ATS)
- Bilingual; Spanish and English
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- ~30% Travel will be required to ensure appropriate level HR support within assigned business units.
- Travel outside of MW may be required on occasion.
