About the Role
MWHis currently seeking a dynamic and resourceful Associate Attorney to join our legal team, providing support on contracts, compliance, risk management, and general corporate legal matters.
The ideal candidate will have some experience in a legal role, ideally within the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry.
Essential Functions
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including construction agreements, subcontracts, and vendor agreements.
- Assist with legal risk assessment and provide recommendations to minimize exposure.
- Support compliance efforts related to industry regulations, licensing, and corporate governance.
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including project management, procurement, and finance to ensure contract compliance.
- Assist in managing claims, disputes, and litigation matters in coordination with outside counsel.
- Review insurance requirements and risk mitigation strategies in contracts.
- Support corporate legal functions, including entity management and employment-related legal issues.

Salary : $90,000 - $140,000
