About the Role:
Mountain West Industrial is seeking an experienced Structural Supervisor to join our team. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in structural projects. You will oversee multiple crews across various locations, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and on time. Our work involves travel to job sites, and we provide travel compensation along with a daily per diem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage multiple crews across various job sites.
- Oversee ironwork, welding, and fabrication operations, maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints and structural drawings to ensure project accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with all OSHA and MSHA safety standards, promoting a strong safety culture on-site.
- Conduct regular safety meetings, audits, and inspections to uphold safety protocols.
- Coordinate schedules, resources, and logistics to meet project deadlines.
- Submit daily time sheets, job-required paperwork, and project updates in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and team members.
- Train and mentor crew members to improve skills, productivity, and adherence to safety practices.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in ironwork and welding operations.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and structural drawings.
- Proven track record managing multiple crews and working on various job sites.
- Solid background in safety management with in-depth knowledge of OSHA and MSHA regulations.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency in completing job-related paperwork.
