About the Job
We are looking for an experienced GIS Specialist to join our team at MWResource, Inc.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing GIS work closure and mapping activities under general supervision.
This includes performing administrative support activities of various degrees of complexity, such as:
- Performing and completing 'As Built' design changes for construction and confirming work requests and post updates to Smallworld GIS.
- Checking construction and retirement orders together with their completion reports in the field against the actual installations and retirements of equipment.
- Performing and completing all types of Data Model changes and map/drawing changes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in GIS systems and procedures, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyzing and interpreting GIS data to identify trends and patterns.
- Developing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date GIS maps and databases.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of GIS data and systems.
