The Manager, Business Development (BD) at MX is responsible for overseeing a team of Business Development Representatives, developing business opportunities, and collaborating cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, and customer success teams. The Manager will cultivate strong client relationships, lead a high-performing team, and align business development strategies with MX's mission and goals.
Job Duties
- Develop and implement strategies to expand market presence and secure new business opportunities.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing BD team to exceed goals and drive professional growth.
- Own and drive the creation of a robust and healthy sales pipeline.
- Ensure a consistent flow of qualified leads for the sales team to close.
- Oversee accurate and timely updates of lead and opportunity data in the CRM.
- Cultivate strong relationships with senior decision-makers, understanding their needs and pain points.
- Present tailored solutions that align with clients' objectives and MX's value proposition.
- Refine and optimize BD processes for efficiency and scalability.
- Ensure the team adheres to MX's established processes for prospecting, engagement, and opportunity management.
- Partner with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure alignment in messaging, strategy, and execution.
- Leverage insights from customer feedback to improve MX's offerings and approach, and adjust strategies and provide guidance based on data insights.
Requirements
Compensation
The expected on-target earnings (OTE), which is comprised of a base salary and other forms of cash compensation, such as bonus or commissions is currently $102,500 to $175,714. This pay range is just one component of MX's total rewards package. MX takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location, skillset, peer compensation.
