What Is MyBambu?

MyBambu is a financial institution delivering the first all-in-one mobile digital banking solution targeting the Hispanic unbanked and underbanked population. Your Opportunity:

This is a full-time, in person position reporting to the President of Operations. As a Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for architecting and building innovative, custom Salesforce solutions, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and API authentication. Additionally, experience in encryption for forms and data security best practices.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and implement security measures for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, O365) including web application firewalls (WAF). MyBambu’s IT infrastructure
• Ensure adherence to PCI compliance standards for handling payment data.
• Maintain and monitor SOC II compliance across all operational systems.
• Perform regular risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration tests to identify potential security threats.
• Oversee network security architecture, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Manage cloud security configurations and monitor performance to detect and respond to threats promptly.
• Manage and secure mobile endpoints using MDM solutions such as Jamf and Intwine.
• Implement policies for mobile device usage and ensure compliance with internal security protocols
• Work closely with Tech, development, and operations teams to integrate security best practices across all projects.
• Provide technical guidance and training to staff on cybersecurity measures and incident response
• Monitor security systems continuously and lead incident response efforts to contain and mitigate breaches.
• Document security incidents and develop strategies to prevent recurrence.

Skill and Abilities:

• Strong experience with Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components.
• Proficiency in integrating Salesforce with external systems and using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and deliver innovative solutions.
• Keen interest in continuous learning and staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, particularly in digital finance and fintech.
• Familiarity with encryption techniques and best practices for securing Salesforce data.
• Experience gathering and analyzing business requirements from stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Salesforce security model, roles, and permissions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. 

Job Requirements:

• Three (3) years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• Proficiency in APEX, SOQL, SOSL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce.
• Experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, etc.).
• Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth authentication, and API integrations within Salesforce.
• Salesforce Developer or Marketing Cloud certification is a plus. 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments.
• Knowledge of ETL tools, data migration strategies, and data security.
• Experience with third-party integrations and AppExchange applications.
• Experience connecting Snowflake SQL Server.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
