My Best Homecare is a well-established Home Respiratory Medical Equipment provider for almost 2 decades in California. We are currently looking to hire a permanent full-time position Patient Service Representative at our Sacramento location.
The main job responsibilities of the PSR include performing many of the tasks below as assigned by the manager or supervisor.
- Process new patient orders according to company policies.
- Schedule appointments for equipment setup and delivery.
- Perform scheduled follow-up phone calls to patients using rental equipment.
- Perform insurance verification and request for insurance authorization.
- Review patient records for relevant up-to-date information prior to process patient supply requests.
- Process new patient supply requests and check for delivery confirmation prior to billing.
- Update patient records for complete and accurate information such as physician orders, insurance authorizations, equipment serial numbers, and other relevant information.
- Review patient records for completion and accuracy prior to billing.
- Document control : Review incoming electronic faxes and emails and file them electronically.
- Review and update company manager and supervisor of patient equipment usage data via direct downloads and / or remotely.
