Inside Sales Solar Representative

Compensation: Base Salary Commission
Job Type: Part Time (30 hrs/week)
About Us
We are expanding our sales team to bring clean energy solutions directly to homeowners. We are seeking highly motivated and well-spoken Inside Sales Solar Representatives to educate, qualify, and guide customers through the solar adoption process. The inside sales representatives will be responsible for developing new leads, communicating with HomeOwners, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process. Whether you’re new to solar sales or have prior experience, we provide the training and resources needed for success.
Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Outreach: Engage with potential customers via phone, email, and SMS to educate them about the benefits of solar energy.
- Qualifying Prospects: Assess customer needs, energy usage, and home suitability for solar installation.
- Consultative Sales: Clearly communicate solar savings, financing options, and installation processes.
- Pipeline Management: Track customer interactions in the CRM, follow up diligently, and nurture leads through the sales cycle.
- Collaboration: Work closely with field sales reps, project managers, and support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Goal-Oriented Performance: Meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs), including call volume, conversion rates, and closed deals.
Qualifications
- Experience in Sales, or phone sales preferred, but not required).
- Excellent phone and cold calling skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn and explain technical concepts in a simple, compelling way.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
- Experience using CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) is a plus.
- Great organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Passion for renewable energy and sustainability.
- Ability to close sales Virtually.
