RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- Full-Stack Development: Build and maintain applications using Ubuntu Linux, Apache, PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS (SCSS), and PostgreSQL.
- Custom Software Design: Architect and develop creative, custom database systems and solutions that go beyond pre-packaged frameworks. You’ll be responsible for thinking beyond immediate needs to design systems that evolve over time.
- Front-End Development: Create responsive, user-friendly interfaces that are both functional and visually appealing, blending artistic creativity with sound technical execution.
- Back-End Development: Write and optimize complex SQL queries, maintain databases, and ensure systems are optimized for performance, scalability, and long-term use.
- Ideation & Implementation: Collaborate with the team to brainstorm ideas and bring them to life, moving from concept to execution efficiently.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must-Have:
- 10 years of experience in a lead developer role.
- Strong experience in full-stack software development, with proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies.
- Proven ability to design complex, custom SQL databases.
- Capacity to think analytically, plan strategically, and implement solutions that are not just for today, but also sustainable in the long term.
- Ability to design software from scratch and adapt to various platforms and systems without being limited to one specific technology or tool.
Nice-to-Have:
- A blend of artistic creativity and technical expertise, with experience in graphic design or visual problem-solving.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
- Comfort working autonomously as well as part of a collaborative, fast-paced team.
