Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. Duties
- Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as necessary.
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring safety at all times.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping duties.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members in various settings such as clinics, emergency medicine departments, or ORs to ensure comprehensive care.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with healthcare environments such as teaching hospitals or Level II Trauma Centers is advantageous.
- Experience working with diverse populations, including geriatrics and patients requiring specialized care.
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures is beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Pay: $14.50 - $16.00 per hour
