We are looking for an experienced and strategic Legal Counsel to join our team! If you are a bilingual legal expert with a strong background in corporate law, compliance, and risk management, this is your opportunity to play a pivotal role in our growing organization.
Your Role & Responsibilities :
Safeguard the company – Draft, review, and finalize contracts and agreements to protect our interests.
Be a trusted advisor – Provide legal guidance to executives on key business decisions, including labor law, partnerships, corporate finance, and international ventures .
Mitigate risks – Research potential legal risks and develop proactive defense strategies.
Ensure compliance – Monitor internal governance policies and keep the company aligned with the latest regulations.
Negotiate with confidence – Communicate with external parties (regulators, public authorities, external counsel) to foster trust-based relationships .
Educate & advise – Clarify legal language and specifications for internal teams, ensuring seamless compliance.
Stay ahead of the curve – Keep up with legislative changes and advise on their impact on the company.
What We’re Looking For :
- Bilingual in English & Spanish (Required)
- Proven experience as Legal Counsel in a corporate environment
- Strong knowledge of corporate law and legal procedures
- Ability to develop legal strategies and implement effective risk management
- Exceptional judgment, analytical skills, and negotiation abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (J.D. preferred)
- Advanced degree (e.g., MA or BSc in Business Administration) is a plus
- High degree of ethics, professionalism, and integrity
