Job DescriptionMy Cosmetic Surgery is a cosmetic surgery facility that has been established in the heart of Miami as one of the best for the past 25 years. We are currently looking for a highly qualified In House Legal Counsel to oversee the legal aspects of our business.RESPONSIBILITIES Draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rightsCollaborate with management to devise efficient defense strategiesResearch and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operationsApply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advice on possible legal issuesCommunicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsel, public authority etc.), creating relations of trustDeal with complex matters with multiple stakeholders and forcesProvide clarification on legal language or specifications to everyone in the organizationConduct your work with integrity and responsibilityMaintain current knowledge of alterations in legislationGive accurate and timely counsel to executives in a variety of legal topics (labor law, partnerships, international ventures, corporate finance etc.)Specify internal governance policies and regularly monitor complianceIDEAL CANDIDATE High degree of professional ethics and integrityBSc degree in Law or J.D. degreeMA or BSc in Business Administration will be considered an advantageOutstanding communication skillsProven experience as a legal counsel in business environmentExcellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and proceduresFull comprehension of the influences of the external environment of a corporationDemonstrated ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategiesSound judgement and ability to analyze situations and information#J-18808-Ljbffr
