Job Summary
My Family Steam Cleaning is seeking a dedicated and detail oriented individual to train into a skilled Air Duct Cleaning Technician. If you have air duct cleaning experience, then great! If you do not but you have the other qualifications we are looking for, we will train you in this field. This position is a Part Time role.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing air duct cleaning services using our top quality equipment, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to inspect, clean and disinfect air ducts and air returns in homes and businesses.
Duties
- Perform cleaning and maintenance of HVAC air duct systems using our advanced equipment and technology.
- Conduct inspections of air ducts and returns prior to cleaning, as well as after to ensure cleanliness..
- Communicate with clients to ensure they are comfortable throughout the air duct cleaning process.
- Communicate effectively with the Lead Air Duct Technician Manager.
- Adhere to safety protocols while handling cleaning agents and operating equipment.
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC duct cleaning or dryer vent cleaning. We will train the right person if you do not have experience.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- The ability to climb up and down a ladder to clean air duct vents and returns, as needed.
- The ability to handle our equipment and tools, and to utilize them safely and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interaction.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience as a service technician is preferred but not mandatory.
